Behind the Camera...

It's been a wonderful journey since I picked up my first camera and started snapping away at the age of 12. Of course a lot has changed since then. I've felt a reinvention of style and found inspiration in the people and surroundings around me. As I continue to delve deeper into this art, I've learned more about the beauty and complexity of life.

There's no doubt that this art is my passion and my outlet. I hope that what you find here is a familiar smile, a treasured hug, an excited leap of joy, an unwavering gaze, or even an intimate moment between a photographer and her subject.

Coldest Toronto Weekend Yet

With temperatures dropping down to -25 this past weekend, it was nice to just be at home. I looked out the weekend on Saturday and thought that Toronto has split personalities. It’s hot and and up for a good time half of the year, but then cold and brutal during the other.

Natasha and Adam’s Toronto Wedding

Week #2 & 3 for 2011
Okok, so week #2 didn’t yield a “new thing accomplished” but week #3 totally made up for it when Brian and Juliette’s wedding appeared on an episode of Rich Bride, Poor Bride. Look ma! I’m on tv! I’ll not let the fame get to me so we can move on...

Just Us Session: Nam Sang Wai, Yuen Long

When I lived in Hong Kong as a teenager, I took for granted that it’s all high-rise buildings with the multi-million dollar enterprises lining the skyline of Victoria Harbour. City streets covered with gas guzzling cars speeding down narrow roads while people rush to jaywalk across an already dangerous street… yes, that’s what I remember....

A Day Outting in Macau

The remnants of a Portuguese colony still remain. An old mosaic of pebble covered paths along with the strikingly larger than life casinos now coexist on the Macau Peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. I haven’t been here for well over 13 years but I do recognize a lot of the landmarks. The...
